In the tv program ncis the fbi seems to always have control over ncis investigation. In real life is this possible for the fbi to tell a military investigative agency what to do?

im considering starting this series from the start. is it likely that i will enjoy this series if i enjoy 24 and spooks or is it completely different to these? if its not similar to 24 what is NCIS about? ty

NCIS is akin to Bones, CSI, and that genre, except that is military based.

Question by Samm: Question about NCIS:LA Tv Show?
Is the show, NCIS:LA any good without comparing it to the original, NCIS (on its own)? Are the plots and the characters interesting and is it well written?

My opinion, no. No offense to any fans of the NCIS:LA show but I think the original NCIS is more realistic, NCIS:LA is a bit more sillier. I suggest you watch it, maybe you’ll like it.

So I just saw the episodes “Ice Queen” and “Meltdown” of JAG season eight. But mostly it was just an NCIS episode with the characters of JAG guest starring. I looked it up and found out that NCIS used that episode as a pilot for their series. But we also have NCIS on dvd and I just looked at the first episode and it was the “Ice Queen” so I’m confused…was this just a JAG episode with NCIS characters starring in it, or was it a JAG and NCIS episode?

If my memory serves me correctly, ice queen is the episode that Harmon Rabb is charged with murder. If I’m correct then its also the episode that introduces the original NCIS cast and introduces the series as a spin-off

Question by papasteve: A question about NCIS the TV show.?
I might have asked this before, but still need help. I worked over seas, or late at night, and missed seeing the show NCIS. I recently saw on USA channel a few years, of the show. I think it was a year behind. But the late show I saw was when the Asian agent supposedly tricked the rest of the NCIS agents, by killing another agent, and blaming him as a double agent. What finally happened to her. Anyone know. I am working nights when the show was on, if it is even still on the air.

ok that was agent lee she made a couple of apperences in season 5 and in season 6 shed became one of the main reaccuring acts but she was eventually killed shot by gibbs while he thought he as shooting someone els because someone shot him and on accident he shot agent lee but gibbs is fine yay
